About DEF CON 610#

The year was 2016, rand0h fresh off his first DEF CON, was bemoaning the the lack of meetups in his local area. To get anywhere to do anything it was either schlep to Philly, NYC, or gods forbid, New Jersey. (He can make that joke because he’s from there. Pork Roll not taylor ham). So he started sniffing around the socials of other semi-local groups to find someone, anyone, that would be up for doing a new thing .

Enter Nate. Being the mensch he is, along with Grizz, took pity on a lonely rand0h and decided to make a run at this thing initially called “Lehigh Valley Infosec”, now proudly and official DEF CON Group.

DC610 meets the first Wednesday of every month at Vault Brewing, in downtown Easton, PA. This is an open and welcoming space. We don’t care if you’ve been hacking Gibsons since Turing cracked the code or barely know how to start a Kali terminal, you have a place here with us.
